After a two-year break, Proekspert\u2019s Boot Camp<\/a> is happening for the third time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proekspert Summer Boot Camp is our popular internship program where dozens are trained and new IT specialists get the opportunity to test themselves professionally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The few, the proud<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Only 15 applicants<\/strong> will be selected to participate in the Boot Camp program! Participation is free for applicants admitted to the program. Everyone can apply, and completion of the test task is the first step in the application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During one single week, participants get a taste of theory, hands-on work, and real projects. Participants get exposure to a variety of tech development areas, such as engineering, testing, DevOps, and product development<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tech-stack includes Java, JavaScript, and React<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Boot Camp program is created, organized, and supervised by Proekspert\u2019s very own engineers. Marilyn V\u00f5su<\/strong>, Proekspert Quality Engineer and Boot Camper from 2019, describes this year\u2019s event: “Our talented and experienced engineers are ready to mentor you throughout the camp. We\u2019ll show you real project development, which includes the areas of hands-on development, testing, DevOps and other activities needed for a successful project. Our Boot Camp tech-stack includes Java, JavaScript, and React.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI’ve participated in two Pro Boot Camps,\u201d Marilyn says, \u201cone for quality engineers and another for developers. I had lots of fun during both of them, got to meet amazing (future) colleagues, learned a lot about everyday software development, and got to solve some complex tasks. I remember the mentors were eager to answer questions and guide us through the challenges, which were intriguing and exciting. I believe it’s an experience you don’t really get from a university.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Han’s Mad Quest<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This year’s Boot Camp test assignment is a themed coding challenge called Han’s Mad Quest. Eric Johann Istal<\/strong>, Proekspert Software Engineer and a member of the organizing team, says, “We were inspired by fantasy and sci-fi works to create a coding assignment in the style of an online treasure hunt that would be no less exciting than our Boot Camp program. We invite applicants to follow interplanetary dragon hunter Han the Hapless, in hopes of hunting down a dragon of their own, and having fun in applying for Boot Camp.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
